Medicare

If you are turning 65 this year, you must enroll in Part A & Part B insurance plans with social security 90 days before your birthday or no later than 90 days after your 65th birthday. Once you have received your medicare card, you may look at other private insurance options.

 

Open enrollment is between October 15 and December 7.  Since health insurance changes each year and your specific needs may also change, this is your opportunity to look at other insurance products and verify that your plan is one that works best for you.
